ROOTS OF OBLIVION

The story of several survivors of the lahar of Armero in Colombia cause by a volcanic eruption in November of 1985. The government knew about it and did nothing to evacuate the comunity. As a result of this neglect, 25.000 people died. Now 30 years later, the survivors deal with the consequences that this event has had on their lives. The inexorable passage of time as their personal tragedies evidence diluted into oblivion in an indifferent and irresponsible country without memory or respect.
