Fire flowers

"Fire flowers" is an observation documentary about a small quarter located in Palermo (Sicily) and called Borgo Vecchio. It's an exploration through the tableaux vivant composed by citizens and architectures. It's a listening to two rhythms beating together: the slow one of common life and the explosive and fast one of the main Saint holy celebration.

Riccardo Cannella is an editor and a sound recordist. In 2015 he got diploma from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – sede Sicilia in documentary and filmmaking.
